Admission application processing takes up to 48 business hours after submission. Once your application is fully processed, you will receive and email with your Falcon ID# and links for next steps.

Student Checklist

Register for Classes

(Required each term you take classes from CEI)

  • Step 1: Select Classes
  • Step 2: Know Your Prerequisites and Eligibility Requirements. If you are using placement scores or prior coursework to qualify for courses, proof of your prerequisite MUST BE submitted with your Registration Request Form.
  • Step 3: Complete and submit a Registration Request Form. Attach proof of prerequisite if required. Email completed forms to ecp@cei.edu. Photos of completed forms are accepted if complete.
  • Step 4: Activate your CEI account. Check the email used to get admitted. You will receive instructions to activate your CEI email and student dashboard (where you check your registration status and college grades).

Pay For Classes

Advanced Opportunities: If you are using Advanced Opportunities funding to pay your tuition, log into your AO student portal to request funding by the deadline.

Self-Pay: If you are paying your own tuition and/or fees, log into your Student Self-Service account, pay at the cashier window or by calling (208) 535-5352 .

Dual Credit courses

Dual Credit courses are taught at a high school location by an approved instructor or online through IDLA.

Workforce Training

Workforce Training certificate classes and programs are available in a variety of areas. Age restrictions vary by program. Cost and location varies by program

Concurrent Enrollment

Concurrent Enrollment courses are taken on a CEI campus or online. Courses are taught on the CEI schedule by CEI faculty. Check out our Full CEI schedule to learn more.

Advanced Opportunities

Advanced Opportunities allow for students to individualize their high school learning plan to get a jump start on their future. These options include dual credit, workforce training, certification exams, Advanced Placement, and Baccalaureate programs.
