Degree & Certificate Checklist

It is the student’s responsibility to ensure all necessary information has been provided to process awards. Please review the following carefully.

☐ Do we have the correct mailing address for your certificate/degree?
Please contact the Registrar’s office if you have changes in mailing information from what you submitted on the Application for Graduation.

☐ Have you completed all coursework by the deadline?

  • Fall Graduate: December 09, 2022
  • Spring Graduate: May 05, 2023
  • Summer Graduate: July 28, 2023

☐ If you have any questions regarding Graduation or renting Regalia, please contact the Registrar’s office.

☐ If you have any questions regarding purchasing Regalia, please contact the CEI Bookstore.

Cost of home ship orders is $12.45 plus tax.

Rental Regalia Program

The CEI Registrar’s Office is renting graduation regalia at a discounted price! Fee: $15 Associate Regalia: Cap, Gown, & Hood Certificate Regalia: Cap & Gown Tassels and Honor Chords will need to be purchased by the student in the Bookstore. Are you a veteran? Stop by the Registrar’s Office to pick up your cord! When: March 1st – April 7th Where: Building 3 – 353 Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Due to limited quantities, this will be conducted on a first come first serve basis. Students must be in-person to claim their regalia. Reservations via email or telephone will not be accepted.

Who may participate?
All CEI Degree & Certificate graduates are invited to participate in Commencement.

Who may I invite to watch the ceremony?
You may invite up to 6 guests. However, please remember that seating is limited and is arranged on a first come, first serve basis.

I may need special seating for someone I invite, what should I do?
We encourage you to call ahead to reserve special accommodations seating for guests with disabilities at (208) 535-5355.

Do I have to wear regalia in order to walk?
Yes, you will not be allowed to participate in commencement if you are not wearing CEI regalia.

What to Expect

Students who choose to participate in commencement will be notified via email at what time their ceremony will take place.
Location: Hero Arena at the Mountain America Center
Date: May 09, 2023
Arrival Time: 6:30 PM

Procedure:

  • Go to the CEI table and pick up your name card.
    • Check the card to ensure accurate spelling of your name.
    • If your name is difficult to pronounce, please make notations on the card that might be helpful to the announcer.
    • Keep the card with you.
  • CEI staff members will direct you to your place in line.
  • As you approach the stage during the ceremony, hand your card to the announcer.
  • Please quickly return to your seat!
