Guidelines
Identification
Before testing starts, all examinees must present a valid, government-issued photo ID. Current CEI students may use their CEI-issued student ID cards with first and last names. Clinical ID badges without last names are not an acceptable form of ID.
The following items are not permitted in the testing room. If any of these items are brought into the testing center you will not be permitted to test. CEI provides lockers for candidates to place any belongings in during testing:
- All Electronic items, including cell phones and Bluetooth earbuds.
- Food or drink
- Hats and Headbands
- Backpacks, tote bags, purses, and wallets
- Coats, Jackets (Including scrub jackets)
- All Hooded Clothing (Hoodies, Hooded Sweatshirts, etc…)
- All Watches
- All Keys
- Pencils, Pens, Mechanical Pencils
- Sunglasses
- Lip Balm of any kind
- Weapons (see CEI Policy 417)
All testing materials will be provided inside of the Testing Center including: (Scratch Paper, Calculators, Pencils) Unless otherwise instructed by CEI Instructors or Exam Sponsors
Required Forms
Arrange with your school or sponsoring agency to complete any requirements to allow the Testing Center to proctor your exam. Please be aware that some agencies require forms that our Testing Center completes. If this is the case, the candidate must provide the document to be completed.
- The return of completed testing materials will be according to the guidelines given by the sponsoring agency.
Exam Fees
Fees vary by exam. You are encouraged to pay in advance at the Cashier's Office in Building 3. When scheduling an exam, the cost will be listed. The Testing Center is only able to accept cash or check. If paying on the exam day, bring exact cash or check.

Children
Please be aware that it is against campus policy to leave children unattended on campus. Please make arrangements for childcare during your appointments. Testing Center staff are not responsible for children brought to campus, if children are brought to campus you will not be able to test if they are left unattended.
