CEI is your comprehensive, fully accredited community college located in the diverse and vibrant community of Idaho Falls. Idaho Falls is the second largest city in Idaho, a commercial, cultural, and educational hub for the whole state. We help more than 20,000 students reach their goals each year.

We offer college degree pathways, youth programs, early college programs, personal enrichment, workforce development, and certifications. You can take one class or many and transfer them seamlessly throughout the state and the nation. Regional employers partner with us to train their employees with everything from just-in-time training to high-tech certifications. You can even host your own meetings on our campus. Our Leadership

President Rick Aman became CEI’s inaugural president in 2017. Since then, he has led the college as it embarked on bold plans, new initiatives, and innovative policies that continue our legacy of affordable, flexible, high-quality education.
