CEI to Hold Commencement Ceremony at the Mountain America Center on May 7

College of Eastern Idaho (CEI) will hold its 2024 Commencement on Tuesday, May 7, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hero Arena at the Mountain America Center. Additionally, the CEI Nurse Pinning will be held at the same venue earlier in the day.

Construction on FUTURE TECH Building Gets Green Light

This week College of Eastern Idaho (CEI) Board of Trustees convened in a special meeting and unanimously voted to approve a “Guaranteed Maximum Price” of $36,407,023 for construction of the new Future Tech Building on campus.  The vote marks a milestone in what has been a three-year effort to build this energy, innovation and technology building.

After eight years at the helm, College of Eastern Idaho President Rick Aman announced his retirement Tuesday during a board meeting at the college. As the first president of CEI, Aman leaves a resounding legacy of leadership, having overseen the institution through its transformation from Eastern Idaho Technical College to a full-fledged community college.
