Welcome to this beginner-level course focused on introducing students to SolidWorks and building their skills in parametric 3D design and mechanical components. This course is designed for students with no prior experience in CAD Modeling. Our main objective is to provide a comprehensive understanding of 3D modeling concepts and techniques. We will start by covering the fundamentals of conceptual sketching, enabling you to create accurate and precise designs. Additionally, we will explore drawing production, equipping you with the knowledge to effectively communicate your designs through technical drawings. By the end of this course, you will have gained a strong foundation in parametric 3D design and the ability to create detailed drawings using SolidWorks.

This class does not qualify you for certification, but is a prerequisite for AutoCAD 2 (Solidworks) which you must successfully complete to qualify to take the Certification Test (CSWA)
