We are happy to provide you with this 100% virtual Electrical Apprenticeship Year 1 Program. This is the 1st time we are launching a class that is all virtual and focused on our rural students! This is possible because CEI is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor, Community Projects Congressionally Directed Spending for a total of $100,000 over two years (2023-2025). 38.2% of this program is financed with these federal funds, 62% is funded by other sources. When you enroll in this course you will automatically become a part of a federally mandated data reporting requirement. We can, upon request, provide you with the data we will be collecting and reporting. Priority is given to Veterans.
This is the 1st of 4 classes in the Electrical Apprenticeship Program here at the College of Eastern Idaho’s - Workforce Training. Students/Apprentices will learn the Fundamentals of Electrical Theory, the National Electrical Code, and other practical training that may be seen on the jobsite. This class will be hosted online for the community members that do not have the opportunity for Campus involvement.
