Idaho Falls — The College of Eastern Idaho has named Rick Aman as its new president.

The announcement made by the CEI Board of Trustees Wednesday.

Aman, who was acting as the institution’s interim president, was among four finalists who had been interviewing for the position. Aman also worked as president of Eastern Idaho Technical College, before it transitioned to CEI earlier this year. Originally, more than 40 candidates were being considered for the new position.
