A. The Board of Trustees

A five-member board that governs the College of Eastern Idaho. The Trustees are elected at large from Bonneville County. Trustees hold office in accordance with Idaho Code §33-2107. It is the role of the CEI Board of Trustees to hire and evaluate the president, set policy, and provide financial oversight of the college.

B. The President

The president, who serves at the pleasure of the trustees, has charge of the internal administration of the college, uses policy to set operational procedures, has general responsibility for the property and grounds of the college, presides at all commencements, and confers all degrees. The president reports to the trustees on the condition and needs of the college.

D. Faculty

The faculty at CEI consists of all full time employees holding a faculty contract, including Department Chairs and Division Managers.
