Spanish 1 (WFT)

Begin speaking Spanish today! Students will learn vocabulary, pronunciation, and the structure of the Spanish language through grammar and conjugation activities. Start reading, writing, and holding basic conversations in this 11-week Spanish course.

Vocabulary will include greetings, time, weather conditions, days/months, seasons, regular, irregular, and stem changing verb conjugations in the present tense. Students will practice Spanish in daily conversations and will be expected to present to the class in Spanish. Participants will explore the different Spanish-speaking countries and learn of their traditions and customs.

Suggested to bring a three-ring binder with a few dividers, for handouts and vocabulary lists.
