The Business Office processes, records, maintains and reports the financial transactions of the College to internal and external users while complying with applicable statutes, rules, and governing regulations.
Some functions of the Business Office include but are not limited to the following:
- Processing Financial Aid and disbursing funds to students.
- Financial reporting includes preparing and presenting the College's financial status to the Governing Trustees.
- Preparing student 1098-T statements and vendor 1099 statements.
- Preparing consolidated financial statements for the College and working with outside auditors.
- Processing and collecting payments for various grants awarded to the College.
- Maintaining the General Ledger and preparing Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss Statements, and the Statement of Cash Flows
- Maintaining the College’s bank accounts and financial information.
- Purchasing goods and services for the College.
