Dr. Lori Barber Named Second President to Lead CEI

The College of Eastern Idaho (CEI) Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Lori Barber as the second president of CEI. She is expected to assume the office on August 1, 2024.

CEI Increases Tuition Rate for First Time in 5 Years

Idaho Falls – The College of Eastern Idaho Board of Trustees has approved a general fee increase of $11 per credit hour effective for the Fall 2022 semester.
The new total for tuition and fees will be $140 per credit hour.

The College of Eastern Idaho’s board of trustees held a meeting Monday to interview candidates to fill its recent board vacancy, left by Stephanie Mickelsen’s resignation.
Mickelsen resigned in May after her victory against Nicholas Christiansen in the primary election for Legislative District 32 in the Idaho House of Representatives.

The College of Eastern Idaho board of trustees is seeking to fill a vacancy following the
resignation of Trustee Stephanie Mickelsen, who will represent Legislative District 32
following her recent primary election victory.
The board on Tuesday announced Mickelsen’s resignation, which goes into effect June
28, the date of the next board meeting. Mickelsen is currently the board's vice
chairwoman.
